"Don't Worry, Be Happy!"

That's the message from Eleanor Riley's new CD "Be Happy", the eighth record of Eleanor's Caribbean Gospel music.

Born Eleanor Marjorie Riley, the second of nine children born to Edison St. Verlie, and Gwendolyn Mahalia Ridgeway, she originally hails from May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica West Indies. She is the wife of Bishop Dr. Cecil George Riley, and mother of two anointed and marvelously gifted daughters, Elizabeth and Esther.

Eleanor's spiritual Renaissance occurred at the Church of the First Born Clarendon, Jamaica West Indies, where she sang in the Sunday school and children's choir. She then moved up to the young adult choir, and represented her church by singing occasional solos at various functions across the Island of Jamaica, West Indies. Eleanor continued her singing ministry after she migrated to the United States of America. She was joined in holy matrimony to Cecil George, and soon after they initiated and began the Freedom Hall Church of God. For many years now, she has been very active In the Church's ministry and served as, Sunday School Superintendent for twenty two years, present Youth Director, Evangelist, Choir coordinator, and soloist along with her other duties as the first lady.

Eleanor Riley continued singing internationally-throughout the United States, Canada, England, and the Eastern Caribbean Islands, going on various Crusades with her husband, singing always before he brings the WORD. Her skillful presentation of the gospel in song and her sense of civil and community duty brought her to the attention and demand of many distinguished religious organizations.

After several years of fruitful singing ministry, Eleanor Riley, soloist and songwriter recorded her debut album "From the Setback." The title song written by Eleanor, is still gaining the attention of everyone who has ever experienced a setback in life, was influenced by a sermon preached by Dr. Riley, her husband. The second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth albums entitles "Christmas at Home with Eleanor", "Taste the Victory", "Flying Higher"(Than I've ever been)", "My Story", "From my Heart", "Goodness and Mercy", and now her eighth CD "Be Happy." Eleanor Riley is now holding the title of Author of her first book, Rungs on My Ladder. A compelling memoir of faith. A must read for all Christians. Vision

Eleanor Riley has always been in consecration to stay in a relationship with God, so her
singing ministry will continue to be a success and more importantly, reach others for the
kingdom of God. This is evident in the "Healing Touch Foundation Ministry" that she
launched in the Eastern Caribbean to help victims of kidney disease.
